Powder Room Makeover

One weekend I decided I wanted to paint our powder room. It turned into a month long project, that still is not a 100 percent done!

Powder Room Before:

Tan walls, standard mirror, munchkin trying to play with the sink!

After:

Three of the walls are painted in Behr's Peanut Butter color and the forth wall is in Ground Nutmeg. We redid the ceiling in antique copper painted tiles which we bought at Decorative Ceiling Tiles . We were really happy with the product and received them in the mail within a few business days. We had to buy our wall plates online from Wallplate Warehouse because we were not able to find copper wall plates in any stores. The mirror I found at HomeGoods for a steal!

The finishing touches will be finding a towel ring and toilet paper holder in copper tones. We also plan on switching out the light fixture and sink eventually.

Home Sweet Home

On November 30, 2011 Andrew and I started a new adventure as homeowners. We bought a cute little house in Levittown, Pennsylvania. It's a great little house for our family. I'm sure there will be more post with before and after pictures as we start to work on projects in the house.

Here is our new home:

Let's play catch up for 2011...

Since July, our family has moved twice, had a few birthdays, a few holidays and we bought a house!

Here are the highlights over the last few months:

October we had Avery's birthday, a freak snow storm and Halloween!

November we went to a sauerkraut making party, had Thanksgiving, Xander's second birthday and Andrew's grandmother's 80th birthday, and to finish up the month we closed on our house!!

Here are a few pictures of making sauerkraut:

Xander's birthday party was a Thomas the tank engine theme. I think I did a pretty good job pulling it all together with the help of my wonderful husband.

Nana's 80th Birthday Party:

There will be a separate post for our new home!

December was spent getting the house settled and getting ready for the holidays.

2011 was a good year for our family, and we hope it was a good one for all of you!
